One of the most fascinating, intriguing and memorable visits the Tenby area has to offer. We are one of the few that are indoors - a refuge in bad weather but best seen on a sunny day when it is quieter!

Housed in an attractive 19th century chapel of rest in peaceful and unusual surroundings.

The founders Chris and Marion Batt opened Silent World to the public in May 1989 originally as an Aquarium and Art Gallery.

Over the years the collection has grown, Silent World is now home to marine life from around the Pembrokeshire coast and many exotic creatures.

We serve freshly ground coffee and a fine pot of tea. Our gift shop sells reasonably priced reptile and fishy gifts.

We are also suppliers of captive bred reptiles, foods and equipment.
